Earlier this year, we completed a full condition survey of all 4,000+ bus stops across the county for Oxfordshire County Council, capturing up to 80 data points and five photographs at every location. Working with the council and bus operators to ensure the data reflected not just stop condition but local community need, the findings have already directed nearly £400,000 of DfT funding to the corridors and stops where it will make the greatest difference.
The findings have been welcomed publicly by bus passenger groups as well as by Oxfordshire County Council.
